Weight Loss Pictures
Have someone take pictures of you, standing and sitting. Pictures front, side, and back. They don’t need to be fancy, just so you can see your shape. Compare these to some older pictures of yourself…
Are you fatter or thinner? How do you want to look? What are your goals?
A photograph reveals your weight problems and/or successes - they are no longer a secret. Everyone knows you’ve gained weight, or lost weight - it’s just not possible to hide your weight.
Keep an album of your weight loss pictures. Write the date on each picture. You will be able to see that you are making progress - or not. You cannot hide your progress, or lack of progress, from anyone else, so don’t hide it from yourself.
Place a full length mirror in your bathroom or bedroom. Look at yourself each morning before getting dressed. Rejoice when you have made progress.
If you were 100 pounds overweight and you have lost 10 pounds, you are 10% on your way to your goal, celebrate your success. Be positive, focus on your accomplishments, not how far you have to go.
Your weight loss picture album is positive proof of your progress. Keep it up to date. Take another set of pictures monthly. You may be surprised at the difference each month when you are making progress.
Focus on success. If you are not making progress, try to improve your eating habits a little more. Try to be more active. Exercise a few minutes longer every day. Keep working on your goals, don’t ever give up.
